There are many reasons for a job or career change. Your current profession may not offer the opportunities you want or you may have made a choice that no longer fulfills you.

Retraining is an opportunity to qualify for a new job. You can acquire a vocational qualification or learn a completely new profession. At DOREAFAMILIE you will find a wide range of opportunities. The care sector here offers so many options and you are one of the most sought-after.

You will complete your retraining as a three-year apprenticeship at the DOREAFAMILIE. You will learn the practical part with us and then the theory at vocational school. Part-time retraining is also possible. If you are already part of the DOREAFAMILIE and would like to continue working in your current job during your training, your weekly working hours will be reduced by a quarter or more. The training period will be extended accordingly.



Another option: further training to become a caregiver requires a 160-hour course, a three-week internship, which you can of course complete with us, and a final examination, after which you will receive your certificate.

Funding is often available from the employment agency or job center - for example in the form of an education voucher. All costs incurred, such as maintenance, social insurance and travel costs, are covered by these service providers.
