More and more people in need of care and senior citizens are dependent on physical and medical care from nursing staff. However, company, a varied daily routine and a wide range of activities tailored to individual needs are also important parts of life in a care home. This is where you come into play: you ensure an active, varied and fulfilling daily routine, which you organize and experience together with the residents.

There are virtually no limits to your imagination when it comes to organizing activities. Walks and excursions, life stories, singing, cooking, cooperation with local clubs or daycare centers and much more is possible. It never gets boring because you develop new relationships with the residents every day, sometimes the people you look after change as they get older and you regularly try out new things together. But your empathy and creativity are always in demand. You don't need many formal qualifications to get started, your empathy is much more important. You also need to be interested in working with your team, therapists, social workers and colleagues from the care sector and with relatives. You don't need any vocational training. You will learn everything you need in a three-week internship with us and in 160 hours of training, as this is what the further training to become a "caregiver according to 43b, SGB XI" consists of, which you will complete with a final examination and certificate. And then you can get started! As a member of our Caregiver Academy, you will then have the opportunity every year to continue your training on many interesting topics while working and keep your certificate up to date.
